Ever thought "gee, these ruminations I'm having would be great for an article, wish I had somewhere to write about it"? Well, me too.

 

Except I'm not "wishing" anymore. I'm writing such articles without waiting on the permission of anybody but my own.

Hence this blog is a platform for this. It's where I get to write about my interests—film, travel, culture, music, books, knowledge—through my lens.

 

To me, writing is thinking, which is why my blog's name plays on Rene Descartes's famous saying "I think, therefore I am". I wander through life with an appreciation and pursuit of its beauty and the things it teaches me—some of which can be thoroughly contemplated on and expressed through a blog post.

 

 Essentially, I Think, Therefore I Write is a love letter to my interests, which really are just some of the good things in life. I welcome you to indulge in my writings on them, because by doing so, you too are partaking in the appreciation of the intellectual, the aesthetic, the humorous, and the cultural.
